John Smith
John Smith is a native of Asheville, NC, with over ten years of experience in landscaping. Before co-founding Smith and Lloyd Landscaping and Design, John worked as a groundskeeper at Red Oak Recovery, a 53-acre mountainside treatment facility, for two years. During his tenure, he successfully managed numerous landscaping projects, ranging from routine maintenance to large-scale storm water projects, demonstrating an unwavering attention to detail.
As a co-founder of Smith and Lloyd Landscaping, John is committed to providing high-quality landscaping services to Asheville and Hendersonville NC, and the surrounding areas. Whether it's designing designing your grounds maintenance plan of troubleshooting your drainage, John's expertise can help you with your landscaping project. He works closely with management companies and property owners to ensure that their landscaping needs are met to the highest standards.
In his free time, John enjoys spending quality time with his Golden Retriever, Barnabas, playing racquetball at the local YMCA, and golfing on one of WNC's many breathtaking courses. Jonathan Lolyd
Jonathan Lloyd moved to Asheville, NC in 2015, after spending most of his life in his hometown of Honesdale, Pennsylvania. Jon received his Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture from Penn State University in University Park, Pennsylvania, before gaining over a decade of experience in landscaping and construction.
With his extensive knowledge of design and craftsmanship, Jon is dedicated to creating exquisite designs for both function and artistry in the Asheville and Hendersonville area. He and his partner, John, founded their landscaping company to deliver top-notch services to residents and management companies.
In his leisure time, Jon enjoys kayaking on WNC's Green and French Broad Rivers and playing the guitar. He also loves spending time hiking with his wife and their three dogs.
